Beautiful and rare piece, congrats Steve. It's amazing that something like this has survived at all, considering what the city of Danzig looked like in 1945 (first pic). Today it shines in its old/new beauty thanks to the well-known amazing restoration skills of the Poles. A few exhibits (pics 2-4) can be found in the magnificent town hall (last two pics).

Hi Jack,
thanks for the beautiful pictures. Danzig has always been a beautiful port city and I also believe that not many of these pennants or flags are left as a lot was destroyed in 1945.
Pieces from the eastern territories are generally hard to come by.
