Hello all
I am going to start a new thread just for different HJ DJ portraits. When I get new ones I will upload them here.
Please feel free to join in with your portraits or add any info if you'd be so kind lol
One threads for all different kinds of portraits would be a good idea i think :)
Thank you

very good idea, photos and documentation in general are always important for the collector

A few from me. I own a couple of these but the others are finds from sales/auction listings from the web over the years:

Hi
post 6 the cap is made of velvet, there was already a post on the subject 1 or 2 years ago but which did not provide an answer as to the origin of this type of cap

Which photo? 2 or 6?

In the 1932/3 book Aufbau u. Abzeichen der NSDAP they show the Jungvolk cap in use at the time. Not news but what I hadn't noticed before is that both black and brown versions of this cap were permissible. I assumed that they were all black. The black version is possibly being worn in photo 6 in post 6.

More:

The last one I colourised many years ago (not very well) but I noticed a while back that some dealer copied it and has it on his website now

good photo Strumble69 as the middle one shows the brown cap as in the booklet mentioned,
along with the black cap. If you don't mind I would like to use the photo in my book. Before it
is ready it will take a while.

A photo I have never shared before. This was my first ever portrait. I got it in 2012
